UMass hoops will play defending National Champion Virginia on November 23rd at Monhegan Sun. Minutemen football will host BYU the same day at McGuirk. UMass will probably need a noon kickoff for fans to attend both games.

The Orlando Sentinel previews 2019 opponent FIU and ranks the Panthers #88.

FIU is UMass' most played opponent in the FBS era. The Panthers and the Minutemen will have played five times in eight years. The series is tied 2-2 going into this year's tilt.

UMass will play a home-and-home with Northern Illinois in 2024 and 2025. The Huskies are not quite the team they were back when we were in the MAS, but they did finish 8-6 last year and beat Buffalo for the MAC title.
